oneTRANSPORT developer evening at Google Campus

oneTRANSPORT: Open Transport Data for Developers

Last Thursday saw oneTRANSPORT go to the Google Campus in Shoreditch to talk around the project and the demonstrate the benefits to developers. The evening featured Martyn Minear (Arup) and Owen Griffin (InterDigital) talking about various aspects of the project.

The evening began with an introduction to the problems faced by Local Authorities and why a oneTRANSPORT solution is needed and a brief overview of what the oneTRANSPORT project is and what it aims to achieve. The technical solution was then discussed, with the details around the oneM2M platform and the functionality of the platform being explained to attendees. The session culminated with a explanation of the benefits to the developers from involvement in the project and the first hackathon due to happen in October 2016.
