Following on from the success of the Octobers first oneTRANSPORT hackathon, the Summer 2017 Ideathon has been launched. Last years event saw experts from across transport gather for two days over the halloween weekend to interrogate the available data and develop solutions to challenges set by local authority project partners. This years event will be bigger and better than before!
The one day event will look to draw attendees from across the transport spectrum and will be be held on London’s South Bank. The event will look to create and fuel discussions around the data that is available through the oneTRANSPORT hackathon, datasets currently available through the platform include ANPR, Bluetooth and Car Park data and come from the oneTRANSPORT project partners Buckinghamshire County Council, Hertfordshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council, Oxfordshire County Council and Birmingham City Council.
With the previous event focusing on developing solutions using the data, the Ideathon will look to develop ideas and concepts based on the data sets that are currently available through the platform as well as expected to become available in the future.
More details about the event will be released in the upcoming weeks and months. To get in contact with the team about any hackathon / developer events please contact us using firstname.lastname@example.org
